Set your colonies up for winter success. Whether you're preparing your first hive for winter or refining your seasonal routine, this hybrid series is designed for beginner and experienced beekeepers alike. Learn how to evaluate colony health, manage Varroa mites, prepare equipment, assess winter food stores, and complete the essential tasks that help colonies survive until spring.

Classes may be held in the apiary, in a classroom setting, or a combination of both. Depending on weather and colony conditions, sessions may include presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on hive inspections.

Please come prepared for both indoor and outdoor learning. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring your bee suit or protective gear to every class, as hive work may be included in any session.
